About Elizabeth Dolan

I offer high quality private nursing services across a range of areas including palliative care, concierge nursing and case management. I also offer mentoring to nurses at all stages of their careers.

I absolutely love working with people in my role as a nurse. I can often be heard saying that nursing is the best profession in the world because it gives us an opportunity to care for people of all different backgrounds at all stages of their lives.

Delivering excellent care is not just something that I pay lip service to - it is something that I live and breathe. I live by the premise that my last client of the day deserves the same care and attention to detail that my first client received.

I work in a collaborative union with clients and their medical teams to do what needs to be done.

Everything is brought back to the simplicity that care and connection are an intrinsic part of the healing process along with all of the great evidence-based advancements of modern medicine. Every practical detail therefore is imbued with this, allowing for the highest standard of nursing care to be delivered.

A history of award-winning care

When Elizabeth won the 2015 NSW Health Excellence in Nursing award, the media coverage coined her work 'The Power of Love'. This aptly described what Elizabeth brings to nursing. Her ability to see and honour the essence in another, irrespective of who they are and what they are going through, is obvious from the moment you meet her.

Her warm and caring nature puts people at ease and before you know it you find yourself deeply settled in her presence. She respects the wisdom of the body and works with you to support the body and the being.

Elizabeth completed her Registered Nurse training in 1982 in Dublin. Since graduating she has worked in many areas of nursing – refugee camps, operating theatres, cardiac nursing, acute care nursing, aged care and palliative care. She holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Health, a Post Graduate Diploma in Palliative Care in Aged Care and a Master’s degree in Palliative Care. She also holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Cardiac Nursing.
